Text Message (SMS) Reminders
You will now be able to send text message, or SMS, reminders to registrants of your events. With an ever-increasing number of users joining Brazen events from their mobile devices – these reminders allow you to reach your participants where they are: their phones!
Text reminders can be configured on an event-by-event basis. When enabled, an optional mobile number field will be added to your event’s registration form. All registrants who provide their phone number and opt-in to receiving notifications will receive a text 30 minutes before your event reminding them to log in. Learn more about setting this up for your next event.
This is our first automated text reminder, and we are excited to monitor the performance and look forward to seeing how this positively impacts event attendance for our customers.

We’ve all been there — you have a great conversation with someone you meet and right after your chat wraps up, you have one final thought!
After the timer ticks down to zero and your chat ends, attendees of your events will now have the option to send one additional message, or final thought, from the rating screen. Type in a short comment in the text box before clicking “Finished”.
Great examples of final thoughts might be thanking someone for speaking with you earlier, answering a question they sent at the tail end of the chat or any additional tidbit of information you think would be helpful to share.
Final thoughts will show up both as a notification at the bottom of your screen as well as in your chat history.
But that’s not all, folks!
Here are a few smaller, but high impact product enhancements:
- Go ahead, change the event time— To help give more flexibility to our customers during event set-up, you will now be able to change the time of your event after it’s been scheduled. If you change an event’s time, you’ll also have the option of notifying anyone who is already registered.
- Extend an event that’s in progress — You will now be able to extend the time duration for events in progress. While events need to last more than 30 minutes and less than 6 hours, this will allow our customers to make changes while an event is in progress. This is a piece of feedback we’ve recently heard from customers and we’re happy to deliver a solution.
