Great article on passion. The main reason I argue against passion is because it just isn’t necessary or healthy. I don’t buy this idea of “harmonious passion” however. It sounds too much like just enjoying something. If it’s not all-consuming, it’s not passion.

Thanks for the posts. I don’t think you can underestimate passion and the role that this plays in the workplace. I do believe that, more often than not, passion is a key trait of a sucessful employee and that employee is often more engaged in the work he/she completes than other employees who are simply interested in picking up their pay cheques.
